 We just got home from the zoo. Troy and I took Kylie and her friend there today for a late birthday present. We had a really good time.

In other news, I'm thinking about quiting one of my jobs. I want to have some time to relax. I'm not sure if I will quit or not, but I'm definately thinking about it.

 I thought I update real quick so there is some proof of life. 

I've been working a lot of hours. Not that that's anything new. 

I'm glad that we are all moved in and I have been able to just relax for a while. It's nice to come home to Troy. We've been doing really well and so far living together has gone really well. Better than we both expected, I think. 

We finally got the internet installed. So Troy spends most of the time on his desktop and I always use the laptop.

Troy and I moved in onTuesday. It took all day but it's all done.
Thursday,  people at work surprised me with a new vacuum cleaner, some flowers, a picture for my wall and a card with money in it. I was completely shocked that they did that. 

I have to work tonight. Not looking forward to it but what can you do.

 Everyone knows that I am quite pleased with the election results. I only waited in line for about 15 minutes. I was so proud to be voting for Barack Obama. We went to my mom's house later that night. We had a party as we watched the election returns. We had quite a few people over. At first, I was a little worried because McCain was ahead but then it all turned around. But when Obama took both Ohio and Florida, we all knew it was over for McCain. We had a toast and celebrated. When I watched his acceptance speak, I cried. 

 I really wish that I could just disappear. 

 I've had to miss work today and Friday because I've been really sick. I can't keep anything down. It's been pretty horrible. 

I'm starting to feel a little better today but I still feel a little yuck.

We have eight days until election day. I'll be happy when it's over. If anyone has any doubt that Sarah Palin is in way over her head.

Not much has been going on. Just working and keeping up with politics. I watched the debates last night and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to see Obama go after McCain more. But I still think Obama won. I'll be happy when it's all over with.

Troy and I got Netflix the other day. I watched the Sex and the City movie the other day and I don't think it was that great either.

That is so sad to hear about Paul Newman.

Does anyone mind explaining to me why in the world McCain would pick someone with next to no experience to be his VP? This women could be president if something happens to McCain. Does that not scare the hell out of anyone else. I personally think that no woman should vote for this woman without first considering the fact that she is anti-choice. That's right. A woman in the position to lead is anti-choice. McCain has said he wants to do away Roe vs. Wade, which protects a woman's right to a private, legal, safe abortion. That right could be threatened. Now, what I still don't understand is, why would any woman, knowing these facts, still vote for McCain?
Is anyone else as insulted by McCain's pick as I am? I think his pick was shameless. It's like saying that Clinton's voters are stupid enough to pick another woman just because she's a woman. It's like saying that one woman is as good as another. McCain clearly doesn't get it. In one word, this is just desperation.
