Back Viewing 0 - 10

Keaton is nine months old now. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. He says four words now. Mom, Dad (or da da) Hi and Bye. I love when he wakes up in the morning and his hair is sticking straight up and he gives me a hug and a smile. He loves his stuffed sock monkey but I think he loves to crawl over to my book shelve and pull all my paperback books down even more. I am starting to think about making plans for his first birthday. I am looking for a nice park or something along those lines for his party.

I found out in February that I am pregnant again. I was feeling prettty yucky and I was late. When I started feeling sick caused by certain smells, I decided a trip to CVS was in order. Troy and I stopped there to buy a pregnancy test before work. I wasn't completely convinced I was pregnant. I took a test a few weeks before and it was negative. I took the test after I ate lunch. Okay, so taking a pregnancy test at work was not the best idea, but it was postive, obviously. I got emotional but I had to pull it together and finish my shift. I called Troy as soon as I could. He was happy. I called my mom too, she was very predictably happy and emotional. I went to my doctor the next day and got a test done there. Then I got busy finding an OBGYN. I am now eighteen weeks pregnant. So, almost halfway through. It wasn't exactly what I had planned to get pregnant four months after having my son. But it happened and I feel lucky that I get to have another baby.

Because I've been home a lot due to my wanting to save money for a variety of home improvement projects, I've spend a lot of time watching Lifetime. I've watched a lot of cheesy movies...Soooo..because you know you're going to run out and rent all of them and because I love lists, here's a list of my favs:

Death of a Cheerleader: This one is about an awkward teenaged girl, Angela (Kelli Martin) who just wants to belong. She begins to idolize blonde cheerleader, Stacey (Tori Spelling) that seems to have the perfect life (the movie wants you to believe she's really funny too)  Angela invites Stacey to a party but things go horribly wrong when Stacey accuses Angela of being "weird". Angela then stabs Stacey and runs away...understandable, right??  This movie is based on a true story.

Obsessed: This movie is about a tall, blonde, medical writer, Elena (Jenna Elfman) who is arrested in the first few minutes of the movie for harassing successful, married surgeon, David (Sam Robards) She claims they had a long term relationship, he says they didn't. Elena quickly gets the attention of female lawyer, Sarah (Kate Burton) who tries to prove Elena is the victim of a cheating husband. But there is more to Elena than meets to eye. Is she really his victim or is she bat-shit crazy? I actually really liked this one.

Family Sins: This is a true story of a fucked up family, the Gecks. Brenda Geck (Kirstie Alley) decides that earning a honest living is just too much work. She enlists her three biological children and a countless number of foster children and a few in-laws, to help her in a stringe of arson fires, insurance fraud, shoplifting, assault and not to mention that lady she keeps locked up in the basement. But hold the phone, foster daughter, Marie (Deanna Milligan) decides she had enough of the whole Geck clan and runs away. She is determined to expose the whole fucked up mess.

Who is Clark Rockefeller?: This one is also a true story about a german national (Eric McCormick) who decides to go after the American dream. But instead of hard work and a desire to succeed, he decides to cut corners and pretend to be someone else. And all he had to do was study Mr. Howell from Gilligan's Island and put a first name in front of Rockefeller and he was (wait for it...) Clark Rockefeller. The shocking part of this story is that no one questions this. Even his gulliable Harvard graduate wife, Sandra (Sherry Springfield)  His true identity is finally revealed after he kidnaps his seven year old daughter.

A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story: This movie is the true story of Betty (Meredith Baxter) who is married to wealthy attorney Dan (Stephen Collins) Things are going just dandy after fourteen years of marriage and four children until Dan hires Linda (Michelle Johnson) to be his new assistant. Linda is everything Betty isn't: young, beautiful and most importantly, sane. Pretty soon, Dan leaves Betty for Linda. That's when all hell breaks loose because Betty isn't having it. After burning his clothing, spray painting his house, rubbing pie all over his clothes (haven't we all done that?) and driving her car into his house, she finally snaps and shoots them both.

Her Finally Fury:  Betty Broderick, The Last Chapter: This is a follow up to A Woman Scorned. It starts off with Betty (Meredith Baxter) confessing to killing Linda and Dan (Michelle Johnson, Stephen Collins)  Betty apologizes to her children for ruining their day (because the murder of your father and stepmother is just a minor hiccup) Soon she turns her self in on double murder charges. That's when the prison movie fun starts. Turns out, Betty isn't so good at the inmate thing. This movie follows her trial and her defense (Hey, he was divorcing me and made me settle for a huge beach house and a massive alimony check...what choice did I have but to shoot him??)  The first trial ends in a hung jury and she is convicted in the second trial.

Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder: This movie takes place in Texas (duh) It's based on the true story of the murder of Adrianne Jones. This movie follows Diane (Holly Marie Combs) and David (David Lipper) who are seventeen, totally in love and really into the ROTC thing. Everything is going just swimmingly, they are even planning on getting married. That is until David confesses to have a fling with Adrianne (Cassidy Rae) Diane is devastated. There is a way to make it up to her, though. All David has to do is murder Adrianne to prove he loves Diane (not too much to ask, right?) David and Diane plan and carry out the murder. And it looks as though they are in the clear. David is quickly ruled out as a suspect and is able to get the hell out of dodge by enlisting in the Air Force. That is until Diane, who is now in the Navel Academy spills the beans. She tells her roommates about the time her boyfriend killed someone for her. (you know, just girl talk)

Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story: This is the true story of the one and only Long Island Lolita, Amy Fisher (Alyssa Milano) who claims to be engaged in a torid affair with mechanic Joey Buttafuoco (Jack Scalia) Amy quickly falls in love with Joey (who can blame her. I love me some sweaty Jersey mechanics with a coke problem) Amy wants more though. She wants to be his wife and baby mama. But there is one minor problem: he already has a wife in the ultra pretty and perfect, Mary Jo (Phyllis Lyons) So Amy decides to take matters in her own hands, deciding that if she wants to be his wife but he already has one, there is a easy way to fix this problem. She'll just knock on the door and shoot Mary Jo, leaving the title of Mrs. Joey Buttafuoco open. (get in line, ladies) What could possibly go wrong? A lot apparently. Mary Jo doesn't die and is able to identify her attacker. Mary Jo pulls through with the help of her supportive husband, Joey who denies having sex with sixteen year old, Amy.

Murder in New Hampshire: The Pamela Wojas Smart Story: This is the true story of Pam Smart (Helen Hunt) who marries 80s style rocker Greg Smart (Hank Stratton) Pam just loves rock music so much. She even names her dog Halen, as in Van Halen. (which is why I named my turtle Dee Synder) So, imagine her horror when she finds her husband has cut his long wavy hair and traded a leather jacket for a suit and tie.(I felt the same way when Troy stopped wearing his nipple rings)  Pam takes a job as a media director at a local high school, although her real ambition is to be the next Barbra Walters. Soon Pam bonds with a group of youngsters, including ultra cool and rebelious Billy Flynn (Chad Allen) Soon Billy and Pam start an affair. Pam wants out of her marriage and coincidently, Billy wants Pam all to himself. Pam puts two and two together decides,Hey if he's willing to come over and walk my dog, maybe he would be willing to kill my husband. Which he is. After the murder Billy imagines a fairy tale life with the lovely Pam. But things don't work out that way. Pam may have never wanted to settle down with poor sixteen year old Billy, afterall.

Violation of Trust: This is the story of pregnant single mom, Susan (Katie Sagal) Susan is going through a divorce and dealing with her rebellious teenaged daughter, Justine (Charlotte Ross) Susan is busy working at the library and flirting with homicide detective and former high school friend. Eric (Jameson Parker)  Rumor has it, Justine's boyfriend, Ryan (David Lascher) and good friend, Vicki (Kimberly Hooper) have been knocking boots. Justine decides to confronts Vicki. (Catfight!) Vicki of course denies any such boot knocking has occured (I denied my affair with Regis Philban, too) as does Ryan. Soon after this confrontation has occured, young Vicki goes missing. Oh no. A few days later, Vicki is found dead at the bottom of a hill. This is when things get sticky with Susan and homicide detective, Eric. Now he must investigate Justine who was the last person seen with Vicki. All evidence points to Justine but the charges are dismissed due to Susan alledgedly banging the dective, Eric. (that happens all the time, right?) Meanwhile, Susan is caught between trying to protect her daughter and suspecting her daughter in the killing. (every parent can relate) Susan sets out on a quest to find the truth.

Lets see, updates....

I came home one day this week and turned on our Vizio flatscreen TV and OMG, there was no picture. I could hear Detective Bensen talking but I couldn't see anything. The worst part was, I was really looking forward to watching "Celebrity Apprentice" that was saved on my DVR.
Troy tried and tried to fix the TV but it just wasn't happening. I logged onto my lap top and watched Latoya Jackson get the axe on Hulu.com.

The next day, I was sleeping when Troy came in the bedroom and picked up our extra TV and put it in the living room. I gave him that little sideways smile that means I love him because I knew he did it for me, due to the fact that he rarely watches TV downstairs. So, now we're using the 27 inch TV in the living room. It looks kind of weird but at least I have my precious DVR.

I called around about the TV. Vizio said it would cost $320 for them to come out and fix it. I also called the "TV Guy" and he said it would be about $200. Troy thinks he may be able to do it himself. We'll see.

In other news,

I've been working A  LOT of hours lately. Which I guess is good news, due to the fact that I now have to pay for this TV.

Jordan got four pet gold fish about a week ago. Apparently, he got a little ahead of himself and fed the fish way too much. So, they lost their lives today. And poor Jordie was crying his eyes out. My mom is going to buy him more fish on Tuesday. He wants to buy an extra one so he can name it Aggot.

Kylie had her first after school detention. I don't know much about it, except that it involved a misunderstanding over a ruler.

I went to see "Scream 4" a couple weeks ago. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting better. Not crazy about the ending either.

I was looking up surveys communities because I was bored and looking for a survey or something. I saw that there was a movie survey community. I was like "Yay. That sounds fun". I clicked on it and guess who was the maintainer? Me. I completely forgot about making that community. HAHAHAHA

So, I decided to make this.
